Listened to:

I've been listening nonstop to Halsey's new album hopeless fountain kingdom. Those beats, melodies and especially the lyrics are really getting to me. My favorites are 100 Letters, Eyes Closed, Alone, Now or Never, Walls Could Talk, Bad At Love and Strangers.
Another music favorite is Lieblingssons by Olson and Lary and Lies In The Dark by Tove Lo. Yeah I know the last one is from the Fifty Shades Darker Soundtrack, but whatever.


  • Michael Nast – Generation Beziehungsunfähig
    • Didn't like like, don't recommend it. Just a bunch of stories, subjetive anecdotes and generalizations.


  • Modern Family
    • Still a favorite!
  • Sons of Anarchy
    • Guns, crime, sex and a sexy Charlie Hunnam. Do I have to say more?
  • Pacific Rim
    • A lot more Charlie Hunnam! How can someone be that hot?!
  • Passenger
    • Watched it on my long-distance-flight to Seoul and I quite liked it!

What I ate:

In the past few weeks I had so much good Korean food. During my week in China I had delicious Hong Kong egg tarts, Macao egg tarts, Hong Kong egg waffle, mango juices, dim sum (xiao long bao), dan dan mian, an awesome Linguine Vongole, sushi en masse and Chinese fruits called xiao mei (?!). 

Travelled to:

On the 14th of June I finally took off to Korea. It was the first flight ever that I slept through (it was a night flight though) and therefore I didn't struggle with any jet lag at all. Huge achievement for me! In Seoul I actually haven't had the right mindset to get work done since I flew to Hong Kong only a week later. I spent five days in HK and two in Macao and wow, I am impressed. Thanks to everyone who shared their tips with me. Photos, travel diaries and guides will follow!

Feelings & Thoughts:

Traveling alone got me a bit sentimental. I had time to think and reflect on some things that bothered me during the last months.

First, I have to be more conscious about my health. All that stress literally just killed my body and my immune system shut down for a couple of times. Working out and eating healthy is the key to gain and remain a good functioning body and mind.

Secondly, get work done, Yoyó! Seriously! You had your vacation and now it's time to get into work mode again.

Lastly, I have to let go of things and people. For good. I admit that's hard for me. But new acquaintances showed me that it can be different. Better. Even though I know it'll be a short story due to the current circumstances I am willing to give it a try. To give us a try.
