Travel: Rostock & Warnemünde – Photo Diary

Tuesday, October 24, 2017

In April (I know, I know, it's seems like a lifetime) we took some days from our undergraduate project off, after we had handed our files to the print office. We all (my project group) needed some space and a week of vacation and I was really craving to get out of Berlin for a few days. So I spontanously booked a ticket to Rostock and Warnemünde. I hadn't been at a beach for over half a year and I needed to clear my mind.

It was a freezing weekend but very, very sunny. I hadn't been to the Baltic Sea for years and I was really excited to feel the fresh breeze, enjoy a fischbrötchen and just wander around and do nothing. And I did that. I read a whole book (Murakami's Norwegian Wood), ordered my thoughts and simply enjoyed the calm. So, if you're feeling the world is coming down, take some days off, go away and come back energized and a plan. That's at least what I did. And it worked.

  1. Sehr schöne Fotos! Mir ist gerade aufgefallen, dass ich tatsächlich noch nie in Norddeutschland unterwegs war, dabei kann man da scheinbar sehr gut entspannen :)
